Archaeological excavations of a sunken ship in Chaotang river of Ningbo city, Zhejiang province are made public for the first time on July 22, 2014. The sunken ship of Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) was unearthed in Cixi city of Ningbo in June this year. Now its field archaeological excavations are completed. The sunken ship wreckage is 19.5 meters long, five meters wide and two meters deep. Its original length is estimated to be between 23 and 28 meters. It's the sixth sunken ship discovered in Ningbo city.
